On Monday, several rumors surfaced online claiming that Jerry Lawler had been released by WWE. We sent an email to WWE’s PR team and they sent us the following response:
“Jerry Lawler has a Legends agreement with WWE, however, he will no longer regularly appear on our pre-shows. He will continue to host special events, including WWE’s annual Hall of Fame celebration at WrestleMania.”
The official WWE NXT Twitter account tweeted the following, revealing that Triple H has announced the first events for the 2017 NXT Road Trip tour. WWE NXT will hold live events in Indianapolis on January 12th, Louisville on January 13th and Nashville on January 14th:
