-- We noted last week here on the website that Tajiri’s SMASH promotion in Japan will cease operations after their March 14th show at Korakuen Hall. That will be their second anniversary show. According to sources, the reason for the closing is due to creative differences in management. It should also be noted that SMASH has been the victim of a bad post-earthquake economy where people aren’t spending money on entertainment like they were.

-- WWE Studios’ “Bending The Rules” with Edge and actor Jamie Kennedy will be released in theaters on March 9th, a few weeks earlier than originally planned.

-- Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is listed an an Executive Producer of a new NASCAR documentary. The show will air on PBS February 23rd at 9pm.
