Tonight on SmackDown Live, there was a triple-threat match contested for the WWE United States Championship. Kevin Owens had to defend his title against AJ Styles & a returning Chris Jericho. At the end of a great match, AJ Styles came out victorious as he is now a two-time United States Champion.
Post-match, an enraged Kevin Owens, stated that he is invoking his rematch clause next week on SmackDown Live.
