WWE Superstar AJ Styles recently appeared on Chris Jericho’s Talk is Jericho podcast and said that his WWE Royal Rumble appearance was the first time he actually met Triple H in person. Styles noted that the two had talked on the phone before that on non-WWE related subjects. Styles also said that he’s only had a brief talk with Vince McMahon since he joined the company. According to AJ, Vince said he sees Styles’ character as a “pitbull,” and Styles has to fight for everything he gets. This is apparently similar to what Styles had in mind for his character.
The indy wrestler who took the bump outside of the ring during a match with Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady on Wednesday’s episode of WWE NXT was Ricky Stark. Stark works for the Inspire Wrestling promotion in Austin, Texas.
