Thanks to Ranjit Chahal for his help with some of the following newsbits:

-- While interest hasn’t been extremely high, there are still a few fans who have been wondering if Tyler Reks would entertain the thought of returning to WWE. Through Twitter, the former partner of Curt Hawkins revealed that he was satisfied with where his life is at the moment and has no inkling to return to professional wrestling. When a fan asked Reks on Twitter about a possible return to the organization, Reks responded by saying:

“Year’s been good man. Not coming back to the scene.”

-- The belief and talk backstage is that Alex Riley has completely been buried by WWE now. Whatever momentum and name value that he built up by teaming up The Miz has been gone now after such a long stretch of being under utilized by the company. While he still gets utilized at live events, there’s a good chance that he will be released as soon as management decides to call up some more developmental wrestlers. Many believe the Alex Riley issue dates back to last year where John Cena and others were ribbing him and he spoke up and threw what was described as a "hissy fit". Numerous rookies are ribbed backstage all the time and the best way to deal with it is to "role with the punches" and it'll eventually pass over. Riley chose not to do that and complained to management.
