As most of you are aware, JBL has been in talks as of late of being the reason why SD Live announcer, Mauro Ranallo has not been present on shows due to the “bullying” of JBL. An interview surfaced on the internet around the time that JBL’s “bullying” issue came to light as former WWE referee, Billy Silverman discussed a problem that happened in 2001.

On an interview with “Get In The Ring Radio”, Silverman pointed out how WWE referee Charles Robinson was always the main target of JBL’s harmless but sometimes “borderline disturbing” jokes. There has been many of stories that have broken out about JBL’s “bullying” antics as of late; including being mentioned about it in former WWE ring announcer, Justin Roberts’s book: “Best Seat In The House”.

Silverman recalled how JBL forced Charles Robinson to carry a large amount of liquor across the Canadian border, threatening Robinson with violence. Silverman noted that Robinson injured himself doing-so and was more-so forced to “pour the boys some drinks” when the plane landed.

According to Silverman, Robinson took the issue to management but was shushed and told to do as Bradshaw told him to. Silverman added that while Robinson called JBL a self-appointed “chief of police” in the WWF, many, including him, considered Layfield to be “A bully and ‘a f***ed up human being.’”
