UPDATE: As previously reported, WWE released their Vice
President of Venue Merchandising and Operations, Alan Rebhun. While there were
reports that he was released for vendor issues at WrestleMania 30 (which he was
in charge of), this isn’t the case.
The previous report (see below) that the vending company is almost broke is
mostly untrue, as the company didn’t lose as much money as was reported. WWE
actually did well at WrestleMania 30, surpassing projections by $300,000. They
were only $100,000 away from having the highest merchandise sales in company
history. The WrestleMania XXX Superstore brought in $1.4 million in four days.
The shortage of money was a reference to a theft in the store. Rebhun wasn’t
fired for anything he did wrong, but for financial reasons.

Alan Rebhun was fired after mismanaging the concessions at WrestleMania 30.
According to sources, Rebhun hired a sketchy vending company, who had
previously gone bankrupt twice, to handle the concessions. They were said to be
poorly staffed and disorganized and that a large amount of money was missing at
the end of the night. Rebhun was let go soon after.
During his run, Rebhun was able to increase revenue by bumping up T-Shirt
prices, though the figures have dropped again since his release. He was also
able to keep costs down by having the crew travel with lots of merchandise,
which saved money on drop shipping it to each venue. WWE has resumed the drop
shipping since he was fired.
