The House of Hardcore event on Friday night in Queens, New York drew between 750-850 people. That number is higher than the last House of Hardcore event at the ELMCOR Center.
Former ECW women’s wrestler and Tommy Dreamer’s wife, Beulah McGillicutty, attended the show and appeared during the tribute to Balls Mahoney at the beginning of the event.
Former WWE “Diva” Nicole Bass and Fred the Elephant Boy were backstage visiting. Harry Slash, who created some of the original music for ECW, also attended the show. CZW’s David Starr and Matt Striker were also backstage visiting.
George Mayfield is auctioning off an 8 x 10 autographed color photo of the late Balls Mahoney and Axl Rotten at the Heroes & Icons Wrestling Extravaganza event today in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mayfield is promising to match the highest bid on the photo and contribute the total sum to Balls Mahoney’s family to help with their expenses for his funeral.
