Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that there are still open lines of communication between WWE and former SmackDown Live Mauro Ranallo. It’s still possible that the company brings him back to SmackDown commentary. Keep in mind that this doesn’t mean that Ranallo will be returning, but it was noted that there is a lot of water under the bridge. As noted, an agreement was reached where WWE is paying Ranallo until his contract ends on August 12th.
On Twitter, Ranallo has indicated that he will be pretty busy with Showtime Boxing and other non-wrestling commitments over the next few months.
