Original plans for Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan for the WWE Fast Lane pay-per-view were changed this week.

Initially, the plan for Bryan was to put over Bray Wyatt and keep him strong for his rumored match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 31 while Reigns was slated to defeat a top WWE heel, likely The Big Show.

Evidentlyly those plans changed and the main event of Fast Lane is now Reigns vs Bryan, with the winner facing Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 31.

As noted, WWE originally planned to have Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus taking place at WrestleMania 31, but those plans were scrapped when Daniel Bryan requested to work with Dolph Ziggler at WrestleMania 31. Despite Bryan facing Reigns at Fast Lane, WrestleMania 31 plans could very well still be to have Ziggler face Bryan.
With regards to WrestleMania 31 promotion, those who are actually handling promotion for the PPV are still under the impression the main event will be Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. WrestleMania 31 promotional personnel have been told to promote Reigns the most often, followed by Brock Lesnar and then John Cena. As for Sting, he has not been included in promotional material for WrestleMania 31, but since his involvement in the show is all but confirmed, the announcement of Sting at the pay-per-view should be a major selling point in the coming weeks.

In other words, don’t be surprised to see Ziggler costing Bryan the match against Reigns at WWE Fast Lane and joining The Authority in the process.
