Dave Meltzer noted in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE officials told the announcers to call the Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg match at Survivor Series like an MMA fight.
Meltzer added that WWE felt like today’s audience is familiar enough with UFC to know that fights can end quickly and they wouldn’t feel let down by the quick finish.
