We previously reported here on eWrestlingNews.com that Paul Heyman’s contract with WWE recently expired in the month of May. As of now, the two sides have not reached a new agreement. Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Heyman and WWE are currently discussing a new deal but it should not keep him from appearing at the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view event.
According to sources, the issues between Heyman and WWE revolve around the amount of Heyman’s outside projects. Heyman recently signed a distribution deal with Yahoo Sports in March to produce exclusive content for their website. He also announced earlier this year he was planning on doing a reality show. Heyman also owns his HeymanHustle.com website.
Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that it’s expected that both sides will eventually come to terms on a new deal so that Heyman can be at SummerSlam to lead Brock Lesnar to the ring for a match with Randy Orton.
