After A.J. Lee called out Stephanie McMahon on Twitter and the WWE Universe got the “#GivasDivasAChance” hashtag trending this week, WWE Management understand that they are under plenty of intense pressure to deliver with the WWE Divas. The word coming out backstage is that WWE is considering a huge tag team match featuring the Divas for WrestleMania 31.
When Lee first fired off her tweets to Stephanie, fans immediately speculated that this was the beginning to a WrestleMania 31 storyline but that isn’t the case, the tweets were all Lee’s doing. Regarding Lee possibly being involved in the tag match at WrestleMania 31, this isn’t confirmed but there’s a feeling within WWE that Lee has no desire to return in the very near future.
The whole situation was described as very delicate. While Vince McMahon was always a fan of Lee’s, the litigation with her husband, former WWE Superstar CM Punk, complicates matters.
