Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Rich Swann suffered a shoulder injury that may keep him out of WWE’s upcoming Cruiserweight Classic. Swann hasn’t wrestled any matches since late March as he wants to let the shoulder heal and be 100% healthy for the tournament. Swann’s last match was against Elias Samson on March 19th. WWE announced his name for the Cruiserweight Classic series just two weeks later.
Swann is reportedly “determined” to be in the tournament and is doing everything he can to make that happen.
