Puroresu Spirit is reporting that Takeshi Morishima and TMDK’s Mikey Nicholls and Shane Haste Pro Wrestling NOAH contracts will be expiring in a matter of days on December 31st. The site also reports that there is talk of Nicholls and Haste possibly leaving NOAH and heading to WWE (likely NXT).

Earlier this year in April, Morishima said he was concerned about his health and would be retiring from the pro wrestling business. There was scheduled to be a retirement ceremony in September but it was later canceled as Morishima wanted to have one more match. Morishima has now been working out and apparently getting into much better shape since he was diagnosed with diabetes. One source noted that he could make an in-ring return and go “anywhere he wishes.”

The Mighty Don’t Kneel (TMDK) have been under contract with NOAH for the last two years, and there is talk that they might be headed for WWE/NXT as noted above. Haste has been out of action since June due to a knee ligament injury and getting surgery. He last appeared for NOAH in September of 2015. Marufuji is said to wish TMDK the best of luck wherever they go after their contracts are up.

Also, Haste and Nicholls had previously impressed WWE after a tryout last summer. Both men were reportedly offered contracts but they were still waiting for visa paperwork to go through and physicals to be taken care of first.
