According to sources, WWE officials are interested in bringing Shawn Michaels in for a big role at WrestleMania 32. Ric Flair mentioned on his podcast several months ago that the company had wanted Michaels to work the Royal Rumble match, but that he had declined as he’s happy in retirement.
There’s no word on what specific role WWE wants the Hall of Famer for, although a match is unlikely due to various factors.
