As previously reported, WWE is teasing that Kalisto will face Alberto Del Rio in a United States title rematch after he defeated Del Rio on Friday’s WWE SmackDown broadcast.
In an update on this, WWE was planning to have John Cena vs. Kalisto in a United States title match at the WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view event. Kalisto is now expected to take Cena’s place at the pay-per-view event.
