According to a report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE Superstar Roman Reigns was “ordered to apologize” to the WWE locker-room for his Wellness Policy violation prior to the Monday night RAW TV tapings two weeks ago. Following the apology, he was sent home to serve his thirty-day suspension. Reigns reportedly went to the locker room and apologized to everyone before he flew home to serve out the suspension.
The backstage reaction to the apology was mixed, with some feeling that there was no need to humiliate him like that. Others agreed with the decision. Mark Carrano reportedly told Reigns he had to apologize, meaning that the order came from Triple H and not Vince McMahon. Carrano reports to Triple H, as that’s his main boss.
Also for those wondering, Reigns won’t get wrestling pay for the 30-day suspension and will lose around $100,000. He will still get paid for merchandise and royalty cuts.
