Jay Lethal didn’t appear at the ROH live events over the weekend as he was already booked for several events in the UK. Lethal defended his title against Rey Mysterio Jr. and lost by DQ.
Bobby Eaton attended the ROH live event in Collinsville, Illinois as a special guest.
The ROH live event in Indianapolis nearly sold out while the Collinsville show did sell out. Several fans were actually turned away at the door.
The next ROH TV tapings are set for February 6th in Nashville, TN.
The following matches are confirmed for this week’s ROH TV broadcast on the COMET network:
* The Addiction vs. Alex Shelley & ACH
* Mark Briscoe vs. Adam Page
* ReDragon vs. The Young Bucks vs. The Kingdom (Bennett and Cole)
ROH will run events in North Carolina and Georgia this weekend. On Friday, they run a show in Asheville, NC at the WNC AG Center with The Young Bucks, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows vs Jay Lethal, Roderick Strong and War Machine, along with The Briscoes vs Alex Shelley & Matt Sydal and Veda Scott vs Amber Gallows. On Saturday, they head to Duluth, GA at the Infinte EnergyCenter with The Bullet Club facing all of ROH’s champions. ROH World Champion Jay Lethal will defend against The Young Bucks’ Matt Jackson while Nick Jackson challenges ROH TV champion Roderick Strong. Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows will take on ROH Tag Team champion War Machine. The card also features a first-time ever match between Stevie Richards and Adam Cole.
There is talk of adding a new ROH title later this year. We hope to have more on that shortly.
