WWE confirmed that current NXT World Champion Finn Balor was injured during Saturday night’s live NXT event in Nashville, TN. WWE.com confirmed that Balor suffered an injury to his ankle.
WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann noted: “Finn Bálor suffered an ankle injury, and will be unable to compete tonight.”
The site also reports that Balor will be evaluated on Monday. Balor tweeted the following regarding the injury:
