During Tuesday night’s LIVE TNA iMPACT! Wrestling broadcast on the POP TV network, Ethan Carter III won the TNA World Heavyweight title after defeating Matt Hardy in the main event. There were reports that the semi-final and final matches had already been taped and Bobby Lashley wound up defeating Matt Hardy to capture the TNA World Heavyweight Title.
While that was the case and those matches were taped in advance, the company changed plans and opted to go with live matches on the LIVE POP TV broadcast, which resulted in Ethan Carter III winning the TNA World Title.
