As previously reported here on eWrestlingNews.com, Sasha Banks suffered an injury during a six-person tag team match on May 15th in Charlottesville, Virginia. According to sources, the injury may force WWE to change their SummerSlam plans. We’ve now been able to confirm that Banks suffered a concussion and will need to undergo WWE’s “Impact” testing before she’ll be cleared to return to in-ring competition.
Banks was penciled in to face Charlotte for the WWE Women’s Title at SummerSlam and while that pay-per-view event is still a long way away, the fact that the concussion is “significant” means that she may not be cleared to return in time.
