The Undertaker could return to WWE programming for Survivor Series or the Royal Rumble, depending on his health. He had agreed to appear at SummerSlam in a tag team match alongside Kane against The Shield, but was injured when the nefarious group slammed him through a table in a post-WrestleMania angle and has not appeared since. Some creative ideas were presented to him when he met with Triple H last week, but as noted, his return will hinge on how he physically feels. We know the company desperately wants him back right now with last Monday’s RAW rating falling to a scary 2.68 (2.7) cable rating. As noted earlier, the company is in “full blown panic mode” and are going to try to do everything possible to bring that number back up, including bringing back Vince McMahon sooner rather than later.

As reported recently, both he and wife Michelle McCool recently paid a visit to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. Of some who saw her, they feel she looks better now than when she regularly appeared for WWE.

Also, we reported earlier this week that WWE had been posting cryptic, Undertaker related tweets. At first some thought it was for a return to the ring, and then it was speculated that it was related to the WWE 2K14 video game. On Tuesday, WWE.com revealed that it had to do with the a series of statues called “The Icon Series.” The first one released will be the “Undertaker Rises” collectible statue. They posted this new photo and published this explanation on WWE.com…

“Designed by visionary Todd McFarlane, the WWE ICON Series begins with The Undertaker and will include both current WWE Superstars and Legends. WWE fans and collectors can look forward to all the statues featuring authentic WWE memorabilia, which are highly limited in production. Select statues will also feature a limited run of authentic WWE Superstar and Legends signatures. Each WWE ICON statue will be created, developed and designed by Todd McFarlane and his award-winning McFarlane Toys design group, in conjunction with WWE, and will be meticulously sculpted and hand-painted to a fully realized likeness.”

The Undertaker’s figure was released earlier today and you can view it by clicking here.
