Enuhito reported last week that WWE NXT Superstar Finn Balor was the person who contacted Kota Ibushi to be a part of the WWE Cruiserweight Classic. Enuhito is now reporting that in addition to Balor, Triple H also contacted Ibushi regarding the tournament. Of course, Triple H would be the person to complete the deal.
According to Enuhito, Ibushi originally turned down the WWE offer so he could work on his own projects. After receiving a personal phone call from Triple H and having a conversation with him, he opted to accept the offer.
As of this writing, there is no word on if Ibushi will be joining the WWE NXT or main roster full-time following the Cruiserweight Classic.
