According to Fightful.com, several names (both on and off camera) within TNA want Billy Corgan to end up with ownership of the company. Corgan is making a play for full ownership of the company, and there has been rumors of Ring of Honor’s parent company Sinclair and WWE being interested and even placing bids.

In regards to the current situation in the company, one talent told the site, “It’s just a mess in there with ownership stuff. Four different entities, all with different agendas. Billy Corgan is by far the best option.” Some talent are fearful for their jobs if WWE or Sinclair were to take ownership.

It was previously reported that a deal needs to get completed, as there is a danger that the company will not have the funds to run the Bound for Glory PPV or TV tapings that follow.

During his appearance on Busted Open Radio today, Corgan revealed that he has funded the last three TV tapings. These tapings were described as getting the deal done at the last minute and that the ink was drying when talent went to the ring. He stressed that he didn’t want to make a bad deal and be back in the situation that they are now and is trying to make the right deal so that he can move the company forward.

When he was asked about the status of Bound for Glory, Corgan said he would be in Orlando “rain or shine”. He elaborated on the funding of the tapings, noting that it is complicated because it is one thing to fund the company, but it’s another to set the company up to be solvent and successful. He wants to get things set so that the company can thrive. He said that if they can’t remove the black cloud, he can’t look the talent in the eye and tell them that now they can work on moving forward and creating everything TNA can be then he won’t make the deal.

Corgan said that he met with Pop TV President Bradley Schwartz last week in Los Angeles and Schwartz was on board with the TNA product and Corgan’s vision.
