It appears as though there was some heated confrontation after the main event at Sunmerslam. As you know, one of Lesnar’s elbows caused Randy Orton to bleed profusely. Well, according to Dave Meltzer, Chris Jericho took exception to this.
Chris Jericho reportedly asked Michael Hayes if that was the planned finish. Hayes didn’t answer Jericho and Chris replied by saying, “That’s bullsh*t”. Then, Jericho was apparently waiting in the gorilla position backstage for Lesnar to enter. Lesnar apparently heard what Jericho said and Lesnar called Jericho a “pu**y” and to mind his own business because he felt like Jericho trashed his match.
Then, according to the report, Jericho bumped heads with Lesnar, pressed him against the wall and Lesnar said to either punch him or kiss him. Vince McMahon and Triple H came to break it up. Vince said Chris had to ease off and be professional while Triple H said Jericho was just standing up for himself, according to numerous sides of the story. Orton spoke with Jericho backstage about how he knew what he was getting into after, sources say.
