– Sami Zayn, Luke Harper, and Tye Dillinger defeated Mike Kanellis and The Ascension in the dark match before SmackDown Live went live on the USA Network in Providence, RI at the Dunkin Donuts Center.
– WWE is advertising Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman in a Street Fight as well as a match with free agent John Cena for next Monday’s post-SummerSlam edition of Raw at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. SmackDown will take place from the same arena the next night and advertised locally for that show is Randy Orton, Shinsuke Nakamura and WWE United States Champion AJ Styles vs. Kevin Owens, Baron Corbin and WWE Champion Jinder Mahal. These will likely be the dark matches. WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar is still not being advertised for the post-SummerSlam episode of Raw. However, he is scheduled for the August 28th Raw from Memphis.
