MMA Fighting is reporting that Brock Lesnar has notified the UFC of his retirement from MMA. He is no longer on the UFC roster and has been removed from USADA drug testing pool.

Lesnar was suspended by USADA as well as the NAC for one-year due to him failing his drug tests that were collected on June 28, and July 9 for anti-estrogen drugs called clomiphene and hydroxy-clomiphene when he was scheduled to fight Mark Hunt at UFC 200, which Lesnar won. However, due to the suspension, the fight was overturned to a no contest.

He would have been eligible to return on July 15, 2017, but his suspension has been frozen since he is no longer in the testing pool and would not be able to fight until he serves the duration of his suspension, which would be five months starting from when he re-enters the testing pool.
