As reported last week —- Former WWE Superstar and Former Tag Team Champion Carlito may be returning to WWE soon, according to former WWE creative writer Court Bauer and Konnan on MLW Radio. WWE has been looking for a top Hispanic star and they could bring Carlito back as he fits what they are looking for. Carlito was released in 2010 after violating the WWE Wellness Policy. He was last seen on WWE TV at the 2014 Hall of Fame ceremony where his father Carlos Colon was inducted. Carlito now works for his father’s WWC promotion in Puerto Rico as well as doing some indie appearances.
As of this day there are no Hispanic talents currently training at the WWE Performance Center so Carlito seems the right choice.The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that WWE was in fact interested in bringing back former WWE Superstar Carlito.
