— Matt Cross is set to compete on NBC’s American Ninja Warrior this week, which sees contestants take on a huge obstacle course of stunts to win a prize of $500,000 and being called “American Ninja Warrior”. The website says you need “courage, determination, and heart” to win.

Cross has been in the wrestling business for fourteen years and has competed for Ring of Honor, Pro Wrestling NOAH, Xtreme Pro Wrestling, and MTV’s Wrestling Society X. He has competed in 17 different countries, including Egypt, Russia and Australia as part of Hulk Hogan’s 2009 tour. In 2011, he was a part of WWE’s Tough Enough series. He continues to compete, including for PRIME Wrestling in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio.

There will be two episodes of American Ninja Warrior this week: Sunday night at 9 PM on G4 and Monday night at 8 PM on NBC. It’s unknown which episode will feature Cross, but both will highlight the Baltimore, Maryland tryouts he was a part of.
