AJ Styles was “fired” from the WWE SmackDown! brand after assaulting Shane McMahon in a backstage segment on Tuesday night’s broadcast. Styles attacked Shane when he arrived to the arena, sending him face-first through a car window. WWE SmackDown! Live General Manager Daniel Bryan confronted Styles and “fired” him after the attack.
