The candidates for the Democratic nomination for the US Senate race in Connecticut took aim at Linda McMahon during their first official debae last night. All three candidates--William Tong, Susan Bysiewicz and current Democratic favorite Chris Murphy--said they believed Linda would win the Republican nomination over Christopher Shay and gave their arguments for why they would be most likely to beat her.

Murphy said, "What I believe is Linda McMahon is going to be the candidate and she ultimately is going to have $50 million to spend. I may be up on Linda McMahon by a couple of points in the polls today, but I'm still going to run a race like I'm 20 points behind."
