The Law Office of Kimberly Turner & Associates announced on Tuesday that former TNA Superstar Anthony “Crimson” Mayweather had the domestic charges filed against him stemming from an April arrest dismissed. As previously reported here on eWrestlingNews.com, Mayweather was arrested and charged by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office on April 3rd after police received a 911 call that a man had head-butted his wife outside a hotel in Clarksville, Tennessee. Upon arrival, police found Mayweather’s wife Heather bleeding from her nose and lip but she claimed to them that “everything was fine”. A security guard from a nearby hotel witnessed the assault and Mayweather was then charged. His wife Heather was charged with public intoxication.

According to the press release, Mayweather’s attorney offered “additional information for their consideration” to the DA’s office and that after discussions between the lawyer and the DA’s office, the charge was dismissed on July 22nd. All records of the charges have been expunged.

Mayweather’s lawyer also said the following in the statement, “This has been a very difficult time for the Mayweather family and they are grateful to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office for considering all of the information provided and promptly dismissing the charge against Anthony.”
