As reported last week here on eWrestlingNews.com, Eric Bischoff launched a new podcast last Wednesday, During the debut episode, Bischoff commented on Brock Lesnar’s UFC 200 fight and the issues surrounding it with his failed drug tests. Bischoff says Brock could stand to lose money due to taxes and potential fines from the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

Bischoff said, “You know what’s another interesting aspect of this that I’ve been thinking about the last couple of days? I read that the fine from the state of Nevada or the USADA could range somewhere from $1.5 million on up to about $1.875 million. Which is a pretty hefty fine but think about it from an accountant’s point of view. Again, I’m totally unfamiliar with how this works but just from a layman’s perspective if Brock Lesnar was paid and earned $2.5 million for that fight that means that Brock Lesnar has to pay taxes on that earned income of $2.5 million. Which is roughly 50%. Now if he gets fined $1.875 million of the remaining $1.25 million that was left after taxes he literally lost money on that fight. This time of year I think about everything from a tax perspective.”
