As we’ve been reporting, Hulk Hogan arrived to the Wynn hotel shortly before the WWE Network announcement. Based on his arrival, it seemed like he was going to be a part of the official presentation. As many of you saw, Hogan did not appear on the actual stage but was backstage the entire time. Almost the entire WWE roster was backstage as well. Most of them are currently doing media interviews.
Before the presentation, Hogan was mingling with the WWE talents and was hanging out with The Big Show. Several photos have surfaced online via Twitter and we’ll be posting them here shortly.
It should also be noted that Hogan’s visit was not a random one as WWE was well aware as early as Monday that Hogan was coming. Hogan had also been hinting to people earlier in the week that he was going to be a part of the Network presentation but you guys know how Hogan is when he says stuff. It’s possible WWE is keeping his return a “surprise” to the casual fan base and since they haven’t announced that he’s coming back just yet, they opted to keep him off the Network presentation.
I also want to apologize for my earlier headline title which read “Breaking News: Hulk Hogan At WWE’s Major Announcement.” That led many to believe he would be appearing at the event. The honest truth is we thought he was going to be a surprise guest as well as he was definitely backstage at the event. My apologies for the confusion.
