— WWE Attitude Era star Dustin “Goldust” Rhodes lost his match against current WWE Champion Randy Orton on Monday’s edition of WWE RAW. As noted this past weekend when the match was announced, the stipulation was that if Goldust defeated Orton, and Cody Rhodes was willing to apologize, Cody Rhodes would get his job back with WWE. Due to the fact that Goldust lost on RAW, how WWE will explain Cody Rhodes’ return in the storyline on television is anyone’s guess at this point. It is known, however, that Cody Rhodes will be returning to WWE television after his wedding and honeymoon.

Derek Gash sent word that it was announced at the RAW TV taping on Monday night that WWE will return to Toronto, Canada on December 30, 2013 for a house show. Tickets on sale now.

Former WWE Superstar Zach Gowen is now writing an online column. Gowen posted his debut column talking about his unique story on how he broke into pro wrestling and WWE. He also writes on how pro wrestling helped him escape from life when he couldn’t cope. Here is an excerpt from his first entry:

“Pro wrestling helped me escape from life when I couldn’t cope. Pro wrestling provided me with common ground from which I could build foundations for lifelong relationships. Pro wrestling gave me a career and sense of direction when I needed it. My involvement with pro wrestling (more specifically WWE) saved my life when I was at a turning point. My subsequent recovery gave me my career back as well as the courage to pursue new career opportunities. To say I’m grateful for what this industry has done for me would be an understatement.”
