As most of you know HHH broke kayfabe on mondays live Raw broadcast. The Good Morning America segment with Triple H discussing how he broke character after making 8 year old Lucian Deering cry during Monday’s RAW main event can be seen at this link. The article also has a photo of the boy backstage with his father and The Authority. Triple H commented on what led to the boy crying:
“As we were sitting ringside, the young man was behind me and he was
chanting my name, over and over. It was just me being in character. I
said, with eye brows up, ‘Hey, stop messing with me. I’m trying to do my
job over here.'”
Triple H said that was when Deering started to cry.
“I broke out of character, and put my head to his and messed his hair up,” Triple H said. “I just said, ‘Hey, buddy, it’s OK. I’m just playing around.'”
