Former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi suffered a ruptured right biceps tendon at ROH’s War of the Worlds event in Philadelphia, PA. He off the rest of the Best of the Super Juniors tour. Satoshi Kojima will be taking Tanahashi’s place on the rest of the tour.
NJPW has announced that Tanahashi would return to action on 6/9 for the Dominion event.
Tanahashi commented on the injury by writing the following on Twitter, “My biceps fractured. I am sorry for everyone who was looking forward to it. # Njpw.”
