Former WWE, WCW and TNA Superstar Jim Cornette is back at it again, blasting Vince Russo via social media and his official podcast. On the latest edition of “The Jim Cornette Experience” on the MLW Radio Network, Cornette went on a nearly forty-minute rant against Russo over his recent comments that he went to POP TV and Destination America behind TNA Wrestling’s backs, offering himself as a consultant in order to “fix” TNA.
Cornette started off by calling Glen “Disco Inferno” Gilberti, saying, “harmless…as long as he’s never given a booking job” and says he only has a job because he’s friends with him. Gilberti says Russo “has stooged himself off again” and talks about Vince Russo’s podcast, saying he listened to much of it but had to stop partway through because “I couldn’t take listening to that f**king voice or seeing that…brown sphincter of a f**king face” and that by the time he got back to finish it, it had been taken down.
Cornette went out to say that Russo was basically trying to fellate someone for a job and was “trying to basically tell the networks that are carrying TNA — if you can call POP TV a network at this point — but trying to tell the platforms that TNA has left available to them to stay on the air, that this program’s the s**ts, that nobody’s gonna watch it, you’ve been sold a bill of goods…and the only way to fix it is if you hire me. Not thinking that they may just say ‘Well f**k, now that this guy’s told us we just got conned by…Dixie Carter and these other wrestling carnies’ that they may just cancel the whole thing.”
