WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has posted another blog on his official JRSBARBQ.com website. During his latest blog, Ross once again defended Adam Rose and his recent arrest and also discussed the upcoming WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view. Here are some highlights:

Ross on importance of selling for Extreme Rules PPV: “Monday Night RAW is the final broadcast before WWE Extreme Rules so one should expect a ‘hot’ show this week for sure. Extreme Rules is a challenging PPV for WWE to produce as many of the stipulations and matches have historically been bouts that at times feature ‘blood’ for dramatic affect. In the PG world of WWE, blood is a rarity and while I am not endorsing massive and wide spread use but utilized sporadically in some theatrical manner could be a positive based on this show’s theme. Extreme Rules is a physicality heavy show that should motivate all talents to SELL. I’ve been watching a ton of TV wrestling the past few weeks and it seems that many talents in a variety of promotions, especially those in their 20’s but not exclusive to that age, feel that selling makes the look weak. News flash… selling when done efficiently can do just the opposite.”

Ross on Adam Rose’s professional life not being over: “It’s a head scratcher that some are declaring that Adam Rose’s professional life is essentially over since his second WWE Wellness Policy violation that was followed by his arrest for domestic violence regarding an incident with his wife. Our society loves to forgive those who show a legitimate desire to right their wrongs and Adam Rose has the opportunity to do just that. While Rose’s WWE career is likely history that certainty doesn’t mean that his life is history. Rose’s issues with his family including his special needs son are much more significant than is a WWE career. or career with anyone.”
