— Jim Ross has written an article on WWE.com where he goes in depth on working with Jesse Ventura and Jim Cornette.

— John Cena, who told Chris Jericho last week that his material is aimed at nine-year-olds because they are WWE’s audience, made a reference last night to a show most nine-year-olds likely haven’t heard of. Cena mentioned being a “vengeful man like Dr. Jonathan Chase”. Chase was a character on the show Manimal, which aired for less than three months on NBC in 1983.

— The WWE crews are off for the 4th of July and Thursday but will return to action on Friday with a live event in Amarillo, Texas. David Otunga noted that he will be in Boston today as his fiancee Jennifer Hudson performs on CBS’ “Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular.”
