During a recent interview with the A.V. Club, WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross spoke on what fans can expect from his new book; “Slobberknocker: My Life In Wrestling”. One of the topics JR went over in his new book, was his battle with drug addiction.
Here’s an excerpt:
“You’re going to hear about my addiction to drugs. I haven’t talked about that ever. I was addicted to Ambien and Xanax together with Crowd Royal. I was on Uranus and Pluto and Neptune and everywhere else late at night. I had severe sleep apnea, I still do. I stopped breathing ninety-nine times in an hour in a sleep test. So I wasn’t in real great shape with that deal and that was during my WWE years. I didn’t sleep much so when I did need to sleep I needed to drug myself to get to sleep.”
