– As noted, Jinder Mahal defeated Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan, Luke Harper, Sami Zayn and Mojo Rawley on this week’s SmackDown Live in a Six-Pack Challenge to become the new number one contender to the WWE Championship. He will challenge Randy Orton for the WWE Champion at the upcoming Backlash PPV event on May 21st. Mahal appeared on Talking Smack to hype the upcoming match. He said that Orton should be very worried because he’s like a hungry shark that just got a taste of blood for the first time. He referred to himself as the new “American Dream” and a future WWE Champion.
