As previously noted here on eWn, Jinder Mahal was the most recent guest on Chris Jericho’s “Talk Is Jericho” podcast. During a specific portion of the podcast, Jinder stated that he coincidentally re-signed with WWE during a time when he’d planned a meeting with Impact Wrestling officials to possibly sign a contract with them.
Here is the highlight from that particular portion of the podcast:
“There was a PPV in Orlando on the Sunday, so I live in Tampa, they were like ‘yeah can you come and talk to us on the Sunday? We wanna talk to you.’ Saturday, the day before, Carrano called me. ‘Jinder, we wanna sign you back.’ I sat literally for 2 years, nobody cared about me, because I didn’t care, all of a sudden when I started caring, other people started caring.”
