During a recent interview with The Morning Call to promote this week’s TNA iMPACT! Wrestling TV tapings in Bethlehem, PA, Kurt Angle discussed his future in pro wrestling. During the interview, he says he’s not ruling out a WWE return. Here are some highlights from the interview:
On his fight scene with Vin Diesel in The Last Witch Hunter getting cut: “Unfortunately, our fight scene got cut due to time constraints. They didn’t show any of it. I didn’t see the movie yet, but I’m sure I was only in it five or 10 seconds, and it’s crazy, ’cause we were there a long time doing what we had to do. … And there wasn’t a Kurt Angle fight with Vin, so we’ll have to wait for another date for that.”
On if he will return to WWE: “Not at this time. Um, maybe down the road. I’m not really going to contact anybody for a while. So we’ll see where it takes me. But is there a possibility? There’s always a possibility. I could return to TNA or I could go back to WWE. Um, I wouldn’t count either one of them out.”
