Killing the Town podcast recently interviewed former WWE Superstar, Lance Storm, who talked about an angle he pitched to WWE when he was still with the company.
His idea was to end his babyface run with Val Venis due to receiving news that he is going to be deported. Storm would figure out that if he married one of the women on the roster, he could stay in the country. According to Storm, Vince McMahon liked the idea a lot.
He explained how he wanted to switch brands, going to Smackdown to feud with John Cena at the time. Keep in mind, this was probably around 2003 prior to John Cena becoming the big main eventer he is still to this day.
