— Dragon Gate USA’s Friday iPPV that was $1.99 did what was easily their biggest buyrate, with over 2,000 buys. The company is pleased as it brought a lot of new viewers to the promotion. They’re also happy with how the production went down. You can get replay buys of either the Friday or Saturday shows here.

— As previously reported, there were several injuries. Uhaa Nation blew out his knee in Hollywood, Florida on Thursday and there isn’t any word as of yet how long he will be out out. CIMA injured his neck during his match against the Scene on Thursday, while Sami Callihan was knocked for a loop in his match against Sabu on Saturday and may have suffered a concussion Saturday. He’ll be taking this weekend off. Sabu got a heavy black eye during the match and manager Larry Dallas ended up with a big black eye over the weekend in a skrimish, which he said was due to “stealing someone’s girlfriend.”

— The promotion responded to the injuries by adding several talents at the last minight. Tommy Dreamer was booked at 5 PM to work the Saturday show as he was in town for WrestleReunion and to see Edge’s WWE Hall of Fame induction. Shelly Martinez was added at the last second as well, and El Generico was booked for the Saturday show as a surprise. Generico worked the ROH show earlier in the day but isn’t under a deal with ROH, making him free to work the iPPV.

— Low Ki was announced for a return to New Japan, which reportedly will have no effect on his standing with Dragon Gate USA.

— Pac nearly missed the Thursday show in Hollywood, Florida when his flight was grounded in Heathrow Airport.

— The Scene, aka Caleb Konley and Scott Reed, got good reviews for the Japanese office this weekend. The promotion plays to push their sleazy entrance as part of their gimmick, emphasizing hot girls in the entrance to show they’re more than just a Midnight Express rip-off.

— DGUSA’s next show is the April 14th EVOLVE 11 iPPV in Toronto, Ontario. The show will feature Sami Callihan vs. Dave Finlay and El Generico vs. Low Ki as part part of WrestleReunion.

— The promotion is planning to bring Christina Von Eerie back.
