Just to
recap some notes from Tuesday night’s WWE Main Event and SmackDown
tapings:
— Before this
week’s WWE Main Event broadcast, Bo Dallas defeated a local indy wrestler.
Dallas also cut a promo before the match.
— Titus O’Neil
defeated local indy wrestler Cordell Walker in the dark match prior to the WWE
SmackDown TV tapings but after the WWE Main Event TV taping. As noted above, Bo
Dallas defeated a local indy wrestler before the WWE Main Event TV tapings.
Dallas also cut a promo before the match.
— Following this
week’s WWE Main Event broadcast and prior to the start of the SmackDown taping,
Kane came out wearing his mask. He beat down Big Show, who had just scored a
victory during the Main Event portion of the taping. Kane took Big Show in the
ring and hit him with his trademark chokeslam. He wasn’t done there, however, as
he continued the prolonged beat down by smashing the steel steps from ringside
onto Big Show.
— WWE confirmed
that Triple H will be appearing on this week’s edition of WWE SmackDown. HHH is
scheduled to address what went down on Monday’s RAW between the reunited
Evolution group and The Shield.
— The reason
Hornswoggle filled in for Heath Slater on this week’s WWE Main Event broadcast
is because Slater is currently on his way to Saudi Arabia for WWE’s upcoming
tour of the country.
— It was
announced to the live crowd prior to Tuesday night’s WWE Main Event and
SmackDown TV tapings that WWE will return to Nashville, TN for the Night of
Champions pay-per-view/special event. Tickets go on sale tonight at 10PM CT
using the pre-sale password NASHVILLE. WWE Night of Champions
takes place on September 21st.
