AXS TV revealed today that lead WWE SmackDown announcer Mauro Ranallo will be joining “Inside MMA” as the new host. Ranallo will join UFC Hall of Famer Bas Rutten on the show.
Ranallo is scheduled to start on March 25th and will continue to work for WWE as his current deal allows him to do outside projects as long as they don’t conflict with his WWE job. Ranallo said the following regarding the new gig:
“In a year in which I landed a dream job with WWE, my dream to once again cover MMA and work with my broadcasting brother Bas Rutten has also come true. Filling the shoes of consummate pro Kenny Rice won’t be easy but I can’t wait to return to AXS TV for some strong style MMA coverage!”
