— As we noted on Tuesday, Rob Van Dam’s current run with WWE was wrapped up
at the television tapings in Ontario, California on Tuesday night. RVD’s final
match of this run, which was against Seth Rollins, will air on Friday’s edition
of WWE SmackDown.

Van Dam’s deal with WWE calls for him to work 90-day intervals, however he
ended up working a little bit more than that during this run.

— As you may have well noticed, Ric Flair hasn’t shown up on WWE
TV as a regular character yet. It was widely reported that Flair had passed his
physicals and would be reappearing on TV as a regular character, possibly
managing The Miz. However, The Miz plans are off the table for some unknown
reason and Flair hasn’t been brought back because–say it with me,
folks–creative has nothing for him. Seriously …. nothing for RIC FLAIR of all
people?! Sigh …

There were some rumors floating around some other sites that
Flair’s appearance on RAW in Richmond, Virginia several weeks ago may have had
something to do with it; Flair did an interview segment with Renee Young and hit
on her. Due to Flair’s well-known incident at the WWE 2K14 roster reveal
Q&A, it has been reported that he’s not allowed to go off script. However,
everything said there was scripted, with the only ad lib he did being when he
told fans to “ask your mothers and fathers” in reference to his past in
Richmond. Of course, Flair recently appeared on RAW with Hulk Hogan and Shawn
Michaels so all is good on that end.

So yeah, it’s simply a matter of WWE creative having not come up
with anything for him.
